Cold-chain monitoring for pharma and food distribution
Catch warm batches before they ship.
ColdLatch watches every cold room and every truck. When product is at risk it tells QA, and turns their signed decision into a stock block in SAP, minutes after the temperature moved.
The same warm Monday morning, twice. What changes is who finds out, and when.
Without ColdLatch
3 days until anyone acts
Cold room drifts above 8 °C
Stock is picked and shipped as usual
Someone downloads the logger report
QA starts tracing where the batch went
By then the product is already with customers.
With ColdLatch
22 minutes until the batch is blocked
Cold room drifts above 8 °C
Excursion confirmed, QA notified
QA approves the block and signs
Batch is blocked in SAP
Nobody can pick it, and the record shows why.

The product, as your team will see it
These are real screens, not mock-ups.
Monitor
Everything that needs you, first
One tile per storage unit and per truck on the road, each with its current temperature and its last 24 hours. Out-of-range units and alerts waiting for a decision are sorted to the top.
Current reading and a day of history on every tile
A count of open alerts that follows you around the app
Overdue logger calibration flagged before an audit
Decide
One screen, one clear decision
The alert shows the excursion on a chart you can read value by value, and says in plain words what approving would block in SAP. Approve or reject with your password and a reason.
"Block 220 EA of this batch at this plant", not a form to interpret
A progress strip from detected to resolved
For shipments, the block waits until the goods are received
Prove
A record that cannot be rewritten
Every reading, decision and SAP posting lands in an audit log with who, when, and what changed. Entries are chained together cryptographically, and one button verifies the whole chain.
Readable sentences, not codes
Before and after, field by field
Append-only at the database level

Five steps, the same every time, each one recorded.
9.4 °C
A reading leaves the range
A logger in a cold room, a freezer or a truck reports a temperature outside the product's profile, for example 2 to 8 °C for vaccines.
Alert sent to QA
The excursion is confirmed
A door opened for a minute is not an incident. Once readings stay out for the profile's grace period, ColdLatch alerts QA by email, Slack or your own system.

SAP says what is at risk
For a storage unit, ColdLatch looks up the unrestricted stock at that SAP plant and storage location. For a shipment, the batches on board. Each gets a proposed block.

QA decides and signs
The decision screen says exactly what would be blocked. Approving or rejecting takes the user's password and a reason, every time.
Blocked in SAP
SAP blocks the batch
Approved blocks are posted to S/4HANA and the document number comes back. Goods on the road are blocked on receipt. Everything lands in an audit log that cannot be edited.
Built for regulated distribution
ColdLatch is designed around what Good Distribution Practice and electronic-records rules ask of a system. It supports your compliance; your validation and your procedures remain yours.
Attributable
Every action is tied to a named user or to the system, never to a shared login.
Signed
Decisions require password re-entry and a stated reason, recorded with the time.
Tamper-evident
The audit log is append-only at the database level and hash-chained per organisation.
Role-based
Viewers see, QA decides, administrators configure. The server enforces it.
Recoverable
Nightly off-site backups, with a restore procedure that is documented and tested.
Separated
Each organisation's data is isolated; stored credentials are encrypted at rest.
Connects to what you already run
Bring your own loggers and keep your ERP. ColdLatch sits between them.
SAP S/4HANAMaterial stock lookup and material documents over OData, with basic or OAuth sign-in.
Temperature loggersAny device that publishes over MQTT. Each has its own certificate and its own topic.
Email and SlackAlert notifications where your QA team already works.
Your own systemsSigned webhooks for a quality system, a ticketing tool or a data warehouse.
What we are building next
None of this exists yet. Tell us which one you need and we will write to you when it ships. What gets asked for most gets built first.

One price per company. Everyone included.
You pay for what you monitor, never for how many people log in. A monitored point is one storage unit or one truck logger.
Founding price for our first ten customers. Sign as one of them and pay €149 or €449 a month instead of the list price, held for 24 months.
StarterGrowthEnterprise
That is the Starter plan with 8 extra points: €245 per month for your whole company at the founding price (list €445), about €14 per monitored point.
Pay only for what costs extra to run or what only some companies need. Everything else goes into the plans.
Extra monitored points
Up to 10 on top of Starter or Growth, so two more freezers never force a bigger plan.
€12 per point, per month
Setup and SAP connection
We connect your SAP, map plants and storage locations, and run a test excursion with you.
€500 once on Starter, €1,000 on Growth. Free when you pay yearly.
SMS and phone call alerts Planned
For the on-call person, out of hours.
€19 per month for 200 SMS, then €0.10 each
A second ERP connection Planned
Two systems connected at the same time. Choosing a different ERP instead of SAP costs nothing extra.

"Planned" items are on the roadmap and cannot be bought yet; the price is published so you can budget. Microsoft Teams alerts, humidity and door sensors and the mobile app will be part of every plan when they ship.
Unlimited alerts and SAP postings. A bad week does not cost more.
All three roles. Viewer, QA and administrator.
EU hosting and nightly backups. Your records stay in the Union.
You bring the loggers. ColdLatch is software: it works with any logger that publishes over MQTT, and your SAP licence stays yours. Neither is part of the price.
Prices are per company and exclude VAT. Pay monthly and cancel any month, or pay yearly and get two months free and no setup fee. List prices are €349 (Starter) and €649 (Growth) a month; the founding price applies to the first ten customers for their first 24 months.
Questions QA and IT ask first
Short answers. If yours is not here, ask us and a person replies.
As many as you need. Users are unlimited on every plan, and each one gets a role: viewer, QA or administrator. You are never charged per user.
How is ColdLatch priced?
ColdLatch is priced per company, per month, by the number of monitored points. A monitored point is one storage unit or one truck logger. Every plan includes unlimited users, unlimited alerts and unlimited SAP postings, so adding colleagues never changes the price. The first ten customers pay a founding price of €149 (Starter) or €449 (Growth) a month for 24 months; the list prices are €349 and €649. A one-time setup fee of €500 or €1,000 covers connecting SAP and is waived when you pay yearly.
What does ColdLatch do when a temperature goes out of range?
Once a reading has been outside the product's temperature profile for longer than the profile's grace period, ColdLatch confirms an excursion and raises an alert. It looks up the affected stock in SAP, proposes a block for each batch, and notifies QA. A QA user approves or rejects each block with their password and a reason, and approved blocks are posted to SAP S/4HANA.
Which ERP systems does ColdLatch work with?
ColdLatch integrates with SAP S/4HANA through its standard OData APIs for material stock and material documents. It can also send alert notifications by email, to Slack, and to any system that accepts a signed webhook.
Can ColdLatch block stock automatically without a person approving it?
Yes, if you choose to. Each organisation picks one of three modes: notify only, suggest blocks for QA to decide (the default), or approve blocks automatically with a system signature. Changing the mode itself requires a signed decision by an administrator.
What happens to goods that are still on a truck when an excursion occurs?
QA can decide while the shipment is on the road. The approved block is held and posted to SAP as soon as the shipment is marked as received, when the stock exists at the destination storage location.
How does the audit trail prove that records were not changed?
Every change is written to an append-only log that the database itself prevents from being edited or deleted. Each entry stores a cryptographic hash of its contents and of the previous entry, so altering or removing any entry breaks the chain. An administrator can verify the whole chain with one button.
Which temperature loggers are supported?
Any logger that can publish readings over MQTT, directly or through a gateway. In production the broker is AWS IoT Core, where each device has its own certificate and may publish only to its own topic.
Where is the data hosted?
In the European Union. Each customer's data is separated by tenant, credentials for connected systems are encrypted at rest, and the database is backed up off-site every night.
