What is new in ColdLatch
ColdLatch is in early access and changes most weeks. This page lists what changed, newest first, in the words of the people who use it.
-
Decisions reach your other systems, and a week of everyday improvements
- Decisions are sent on. Email, Slack and webhooks are now told when QA approves or rejects a batch block, what SAP answered, and when an alert is resolved, with the batch, the quantity, who signed and why. The webhook guide shows the messages.
- "I have seen this". A QA user or administrator can acknowledge an alert before deciding anything, so the next shift can tell a noticed alert from an unnoticed one.
- Export for auditors. The alert list and the audit log download as CSV. The audit export carries each entry's hash, so the chain can be re-checked outside ColdLatch.
- Older alerts are reachable. The alert list and the integration log now page and search through everything, not only the newest 200 entries.
- Long charts stay honest. A month of minute-by-minute readings is drawn as the highest and lowest reading of each stretch of time, so a short excursion is still visible. The chart says when it does this.
- Send again. A notification that could not be delivered can be re-sent from the integration log.
- Battery and signal. Loggers that report their battery level and signal strength now show both, in red when the battery is nearly flat or the signal weak: the usual reasons a logger goes quiet.
- A checklist for day one. A new company's administrator sees what is left to set up, step by step, until monitoring is running.
- Plan and usage. Settings shows your plan and how many monitored points you are using. Nothing is ever switched off for going over.
- Your own password. Every user can change their password under "Your account"; doing so signs their other devices out.
- Safer by default. Integrations can only call public https addresses, and every page is served with a content security policy.

Early access opens
- ColdLatch is taking on its first ten customers at a founding price. The application form asks which ERP you run, because that decides what we connect next.
-
ColdLatch has a name and an address
- The product is now called ColdLatch and lives at this address, with a read-only live demo anyone can open without signing up.
- The first guides are published: an excursion checklist for cold rooms, and how to block a batch in SAP S/4HANA.
